The Rules
General Role-playing Rules
These are the general rules that you have to follow in Mapleville
• No not God mode or Power play.
• Do not impersonate staff members.
• You may not under any circumstances harm or kill another person’s character without their consent.
• No perfect characters. Everyone has faults.
• No one line posts. Every post must be 80 words or more.
• Stick to the environmental settings I have described. No huge tall skyscrapers or you know, elephants running about some savannah.
• This is a realistic role-play, no magical powers, no ghosts, no… elephants… Got elephants on the mind… Ha-ha.
• Regarding pets! No really obscure pets! No pure wolves, no tigers, no zebras, no mutant squirrel-frogs. If you are unsure or you have a history behind the pet, PM me.
• If you want to play a teacher at any of the schools, I could accommodate you I’m sure. But we will cross that bridge when we come to it. PM me.
Character Celebrity Claim Rules
It’s pretty simple;
• You will PM me to claim a celebrity with the following form before writing up your characters application;
Code:| Celeb last name, Celeb first name x Your characters name |

• You cannot use another person’s claimed celebrity
• If a person has a celebrity you want to use and they are inactive, PM them asking if you can use the celeb OR
• If the character has not logged on in TWO months, you can PM me and I will write the person an email informing them they have lost that celebrity and you will from that point on have the rights use them from that point on. With the exception of them posting on the away board.
Mapleville Township Rules
These are the rules for the Township.
• If you are unhappy with the street you are assigned you can PM me asking for a change.
• You can post on other peoples streets regardless.
• All the Mapleville educational system is based on the Australian way. I'm sorry but I’m Australian and that’s all I know. If you have any questions regarding it, Just PM me.
• We have a special lock on the applications board and of course because I think I’m very clever (I joke, I joke) I have decided to embed it in the rules! But! Keep reading! Its not here! 
• You do not necessarily have to play out your characters entire family if they live in the Township. For example, if you play Sally and she is 16. You don’t have to play Sally’s mother, father, brother and annoying little sister as your characters. You just play Sally and can refer to the family members in your post. EG. ‘Sally walked into the room and saw her mother cooking breakfast…” Yeah you get it, and as usual. Questions? PM me.
Mapleville University Rules
The wonderful university! If you want you character to live alone without their parents they can live at University. But we have rules…
• Your character MUST be over 18 unless you have PMed me for permission with a history.
• We don’t have teachers at the university so just like the parental figures you just write the teachers reactions into your post but please, be realistic and don’t be arrogant to them or I will personally make sure your character is booted out of Uni.
• The very special code I spoke of above is Mapleleaf
• You get your own dorm! Yay! You PM me with this form and you get your own board for your dorm you lucky things!
